In the years since XML was introduced at the IDEAlliance 1997 Markup Conference, XML has made the transition from an emerging technology to the core foundation at the heart of today’s content creation, production and delivery tools, processes and workflows.  Docbook, DITA, NITF and PRISM® are all XTechs!  XMP, CM, KM and DAM are all enabled by XML. EPUB®, nextPub® and HTML5, leading-edge content delivery/display technologies, are XTechs too!

To participate in XTech 2012, please submit the form below. 
All Proposals are due by 5:00 pm CST on January 13, 2012

Details:
Each session will be 45 minutes, including time for questions.
Presentations will be delivered from the XTech Conference, March 15 or 16, at the Embassy Suites O’Hare

Session Focus:
XTech focuses specifically on XML-enabled eMedia publishing technologies. Real world case studies preferred.

Topic Suggestions:

•   Cross Channel Publishing to print, tablets, smart phones, eReaders and beyond
•   Implementing XML publishing specifications such as PRISM, DITA, Docbook
•   DAM/CM implementations based on metadata standards
•   Enhancing findability with OWL, Topic Maps, RDFa and Microformats
•   HTML5-enabled publishing models

Selection:
Selected paper speakers will receive a complimentary registration to the Conference. Each speaker will be expected to pay for travel, hotel, and related expenses. Presentations/Papers will be published online at IDEAlliance.
