Digital Ad Lab/New York City (DAL/NYC) launched its
2nd Year with a key initiative for the advertising-publishing-printing
supply chain - VIRTUAL PROOFING. Moving to Virtual Proofing
from current analog paper proofs will invoke a transition
- both controversial and positive. In November 2005,
DAL/NYC focused its Round I Session on Today's New Advertising
Agency, Publisher & Printer Workflow. In Round II
we focus on the Advertising Agency point-of-view and
ways to maximize best practices across the entire supply
chain. To enhance industry-wide dialogue, planning and
process change, IDEAlliance released a White Paper entitled
VIRTUAL PROOFING BEST PRACTICES: CONSIDERATION FOR PATH
FORWARD at its SPECTRUM 2005 Conference and formed a
Virtual Proofing Task Force. Join us at the next Digital
Ad Lab/NYC for a spirited roundtable discussion to advance
Virtual Proofing technology for print media.
