The IDEAlliance Digital Print Network was launched in early 2009. Digital print is comprised of Digital Offset, Wide Format and Flatbed Inkjet technology.  Digital Printing is capable of matching a GRACoL or SWOP characterization data set and beyond for extended color gamut for more vibrant color match.  G7 coupled with color management for digital printing compliments traditional printing methods with high speed, short run, variable print technology.  Companies that are using this technology include traditional sheetfed and web offset printers, screen printers, sign manufacturers and point of purchase display manufacturers.  The new Digital Print Network will develop Best Practices in process control and color management techniques.  Check this website for new industry best practices in the future.
