JDF Seminar: Tuesday, December 9, 2003 / 9:00 am - 12:30 pm
Keynote speaker Kin Wah Lam of Time Inc. presents his vision of process automation enabled by JDF. Sessions focus on strictly practical applications of JDF solutions to specific workflow aspects. Presenters describe key business problems facing companies involved in prepress and print production and management. Real-world scenarios provide an understanding of where and how JDF/JMF can be used and its affect on both productivity and the bottom line. Learn all about JDF and its benefits.

The JDF Pavilion is open on the show floor of the XML 2003 Exposition from 12:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Dec. 9 and 10.. Companies including Agfa, EFI, Heidelberg, Printcafe and Screen (USA) demonstrate interoperability both within their own product suites and across vendors to show a complex set of inter-relationships which parallel real world implementations -- taking a job through RFQ, Creative, Prepress, Digital and Traditional Print Production, Print Management and Finishing.
