Unveil XTS - an XML Integration Server
XTS
will Reduce the Time, Cost, and Complexity
of Any-to-Any Enterprise Integration
Vancouver,
BC, November 13th, 2001 - XML Global
Technologies, Inc. (OTC BB: XMLG), an
XML middleware company, and iWay Software,
an Information Builders Company that
accelerates business integration, announced
the general availability of XTS, an
XML Transformation Server. This groundbreaking
product is designed to lower the implementation
and maintenance cost of enterprise integration
and improve integration-related project
delivery schedules by at least 50 percent.
"XTS
is a major step forward in solving the
real time complexities of enterprise
integration," said Peter Shandro, CEO
of XML Global Technologies. "By enabling
XTS, organizations will be able to dramatically
reduce the time, cost and business risk
previously associated with enterprise
integration projects."
Jointly
developed between XML Global Technologies,
Inc. and iWay Software, XTS is a lightweight,
low-cost integration server that enables
businesses to link B2B or A2A systems
together in real time utilizing XML
for message transport and enhancement
between systems. XTS's easy-to-use Transformation
Workbench enables implementers, with
virtually no integration experience,
to create the sophisticated message
transformations necessary to enable
systems to collaborate through iWay
Intelligent Adapters, without custom
code, Java(TM) Components, or proprietary
scripting languages. Additionally, the
XTS Transformation Workbench provides
over 3,000 predefined templates that
accelerate the ability of implementers
to link EDI feeds, HIPAA exchanges,
e- business exchanges, and packaged
applications with each other and other
enterprise information assets.
"Today,
customers are struggling with relatively
straightforward integration problems
such as enabling a MySAP.com e-commerce
implementation to collaborate with a
Siebel Call Center application and a
'home-grown' CICS inventory system,"
said David Watson, director of product
management for iWay Software.
Integration
brokers from many vendors could solve
such problems, but they are very expensive
and typically require a lot of complex,
custom code. XTS solves this problem
quickly and easily at less than half
the cost of an integration broker, and
completely eliminates the need for custom
code.
XTS
is a part of iWay Software's v5.1 family
of integration software that allows
businesses to build a comprehensive
and durable infrastructure using prefabricated
middleware products. These primary products
- XML Transformation Server (XTS), Enterprise
Integration Broker (EIB), and ETL Manager
- are integration servers that centralize
and coordinate real-time, near real-time,
and scheduled activities between collaborating
information resources. iWay integration
servers then utilize v5.1's substantially
expanded suite of Intelligent Adapter
products to link to more than 140 widely
disparate information resources, without
writing custom code.
