Kicking off this year's conference on Monday, March 11, Dr. Richard L. Dr. Vogel engages in ongoing research -- and has published more than 70 pieces, including nine books -- on the subjects of software engineering, cognitive design, social organizations, and semiotics.

"We're very excited about the 2002 keynote speakers and the entire KT2002 conference program," said Dr. James D. Mason, of the Y-12 National Security Complex, Chairman of this year's Conference and Chair of ISO/IEC JTC1/SC34. "The theme of this year's event, 'Bridging Knowledge Communities' is reflected in the presentations and will bring to attendees a wealth of insight and practical applications."

"Building on last year's highly successful premier event, KT2002 will bring to members of the knowledge communities a stellar lineup of presenters and a technology showcase, providing insight and ideas for today's changing business priorities", said Marion Elledge, Executive VP of IDEAlliance. "We are confident that our attendees will learn new strategies to enhance their business goals."

In addition to the keynote addresses, KT2002 offers participants more than 40 educational sessions broken into 3 focused community tracks, a vendor showcase, late-breaking news, and a variety of informal networking opportunities, discussion groups and social events.
