The

of IDEAlliance hereby submits, the names

Petitioning
to Add a Nominee to the Slate
An
IDEAlliance member has the option of
petitioning for a nominee to be added
to the slate of candidates according
to Article VIII, Section 1 of the Bylaws:
“Voting
for Directors
The
Active Members annually by majority
vote shall elect the directors. Active
Members shall be permitted to vote either
by written ballot, facsimile, e-mail,
or other medium authorized from time
to time by the Board. At least thirty
(30) days in advance of the date set
for the annual election of directors,
the Secretary-Treasurer shall cause
to be sent a slate of nominees to the
Active Members. If at least ten percent
(10%) of the Active Members join in
a petition supporting a proposed nominee,
this person shall be added to the slate
of nominees.”
To
meet the 10% requirement as prescribed
by the Bylaws, the member is required
to collect signatures from 28 current
IDEAlliance members. The petition will
list name, title, and company of the
member and signature.
DEADLINE
of November 22, 2002
The
deadline for responding, with the candidate
and signatures, is no later than 6:00pm
Eastern on November 22, 2002. A ballot
with the final slate of candidates will
be sent to you on November 25, 2002.
Final election results will be announced
in Baltimore, Maryland, at the IDEAlliance
XML 2002 Conference & Exhibition.
