Fuego™ Launches UXOs: The Market’s First Ubiquitous Translator for XML

Unifying technology reduces need for XML standards, significantly reducing IT costs

San Francisco – March 25, 2002 – Fuego, a global leader in Business Services Orchestration software, today launched Unidentified XML Objects, (UXOs) a stand-alone technology that incorporates small enterprises effortlessly and for free into the B2B world. With UXOs, customers, partners and providers can dynamically conduct transactions with no change in current infrastructure, no programming effort and no maintenance issues. Fuego will be demonstrating UXOs at the Java One Conference, booth #1340.

XML, a set of rules for designing text formats, was established to enable widespread B2B communication on the Web without the need to translate disparate document formats. Programmers started developing their own XML definitions, resulting in thousands of flavors of XML that do not communicate. UXOs alleviate this problem with self-interpreting XML Objects that execute on the client side, enabling faster B2B integration and easily automating interactions. UXOs are executable XML Objects that can be delivered via email or any Internet protocol using XML/SOAP, FTP or any other messaging systems currently in place. They can execute off line and will automatically route themselves back to the orginator’s process or other target processes when submitted. They provide consistent data according to the needs of each business process and are encrypted, signed and secure.

“The marketplace is in critical need of a means to achieve faster and more cost effective internal and business-to-business integration -- especially when it comes to interacting with small and mid-sized enterprises,” said Tyler McDaniel of Hurwitz Group. “With UXOs, Fuego hits the mark by delivering an effective technology that orchestrates business services in any IT environment and offers users a significant productivity benefit.”

“UXOs go way beyond just simply facilitating eBusiness,” said Felix Racca, founder and executive vice president of Fuego. “These intelligent objects are a breakthrough means of inter-process communication. They provide the sender with infinite scalability without load balanced web server farms. They are the true Peer-to-Peer, B2B solution that the market has been waiting for.”

B2B has proven to be very complex and expensive for the small and medium sized businesses that make up more than 80 percent of the traditional B2B interaction chain. UXOs completely eliminate these friction points for third and fourth tier suppliers in situations such as healthcare and insurance claims processing, process manufacturing or other complex, multi-tiered value chains.

Fuego’s flagship software suite, Fuego 4, integrates and orchestrates business services, while at the same time reduces the cost and complexity of designing, deploying and evolving them.
