XML and Web Services Platform
PolarLake
Joins Forte for Java Extension Partner
Program
Dublin
- April 16th, 2002 - PolarLake,
the enterprise XML and Web Services
company, today announced that it has
joined the extensive community of tool
vendors that are building extensions
to Sun Microsystems' Forte(tm) for Java(tm)
integrated development environment (IDE).
PolarLake's enterprise XML and Web Services
platform complements the Forte for Java
product to provide customers with flexible
and rich integration across the extended
enterprise.
Through
this latest relationship, PolarLake's
customers will be able to leverage the
power of the Forte for Java IDE when
developing PolarLake systems. The PolarLake
platform already provides a highly flexible
and productive environment for integrating
businesses across the extended enterprise
using XML and Web Services. The Forte
for Java IDE completes PolarLake's support
for the software cycle by providing
a productive way of creating new Java(tm)
technology components that PolarLake
developers can assemble into new solutions.
Ronan
Bradley, Chief Executive Officer at
PolarLake, commented, "PolarLake makes
it easy to create and deploy XML and
Web Service applications from Java language

is the natural choice for any PolarLake
developer." He added, "At a commercial
level, Sun's strength in the financial
services industry and PolarLake's focus
on providing the most flexible XML development
and deployment platform for the financial
community will help to further encourage
the widespread adoption of XML as the
industry standard."
"PolarLake
has been a leading innovator in the
development of an enterprise-strength
XML and Web Services platform for the
Java technology developer. We welcome
the company's support of the Forte for
