IDEAlliance Group Supports Freeze on Postal Rates

Members asked to support H.R. 735

March 11, 2003 - Alexandria, VA - A major issue for publishers is postal rates. A key element in containing postal rates over the next year(s) is the US Postal Service contribution to pension funds. IDEAlliance has just signed on to an industry-wide effort (see letter to Representative Owens) through the Paper Industry Task Force on legislation that will dramatically effect the delay of a postal increase.
