IDEAlliance Announces Integrated Media Workflow LabTM at PRINT' 13

Lab to showcase next generation workflow best practices to support multi-channel media production and distribution

[CHICAGO, IL - April 9, 2013] IDEAlliance® announces a dynamic new launch at PRINT' 13: the Integrated Media Workflow (IMW) Lab™ (www.idealliance.org/IMWLab). The IMW Lab will showcase the latest technologies and solutions transforming media production and distribution in a LIVE demonstration on the show floor at the Print’13 trade show in Chicago, September 2013.

Developed in partnership with Createasphere, the IDEAlliance Integrated Media Workflow Lab will demonstrate an agile workflow from content creation to the delivery of media across channels. The IMW Lab is designed to showcase a range of opportunities and demonstrate how digital media content distribution channels can be added to the portfolio of today’s print service providers. Using content and asset management as the heart of an integrated media workflow, the IMW Lab will showcase beginning–to–end production workflow best practices through six identifying stations:

  2. Ingestion
  3. Production
  4. Transformation
  5. Distribution
  6. Engagement

Attendees of Print’13 will be taken on a guided workflow tour offering learning objectives and live demonstrations that illustrates a media production workflow from creation to distribution to engagement. A Q&A Stop at each station will focus on best practices and industry standards that can facilitate efficiencies.
