XTech 2006 - The gathering place for Web technologists

An invitation from Edd Dumbill, Conference Chair

XTech 2006, to be held May 16-19 in Amsterdam, has become the gathering place for Web technologists in Europe. Industry experts, representing the hottest innovators in the future of the Web, preside over this year's event. IDEAlliance, sponsor of XTech 2006, is pleased to announce that industry expert Alex Russell will present the keynote for the Ajax Developer's Day, speaking on "Dojo and the future of open web." IDEAlliance has also confirmed Paul Graham (Y Combinator),  Jeffrey McManus (Yahoo!), Jeff Barr (Amazon), and has just added Brendan Eich (Mozilla Corporation) as Xtech Conference keynote speakers.

To further enhance the agenda for XTech attendees, IDEAlliance has added a Developer's Corner and the Ajax Products Panel. The Developers' Corner provides paid XTech participants with the ability to demonstrate for peer review technical programs and products that are not yet commercially available.

The Ajax Developer's Day has attracted a great deal of interest, and as a result, XTech 2006 is now offering a lightning demo session at the end of the day. During this session, each presenter will have 10-15 minutes to show off their Ajax toolkit or application -- whether commercial or open source. Space will be limited, so get your proposals in as soon as possible. Please send an email to edd@usefulinc.com to express your interest and reserve a slot.

The XTech 2006 program provides a comprehensive view of current technical developments for the Web. A number of speakers will interject their prognostications on future requirements to support a new Web. XTech is the growing community of technologists interested in developing these new tools and applications for the Web. XTech is THE forum for peer-to peer interaction, learning about new technologies, meeting the experts, and voicing one's opinion on current and future Web developments.

See you at XTech 2006!
