Ad Insertion Order Confirmation (AIOC)

The Ad Insertion Order Confirmation Specification was developed by the IDEAlliance eMedia21 Forum.  The IDEAlliance eMedia21 Forum in a joint effort with representatives from advertising agencies, prepared this specification. 

The Metadata Specification for Ad Insertion Order Confirmation defines standard metadata fields to be embedded in the PDF of an Advertisement for submission to magazine print production that can be used to verify the Booking and be married up with booking information held by the publisher in order to expedite invoicing against the Ad Insertion Order. This Specification recommends the use of certain existing standards, such as XML, RDF, XMP, AdsML Job Ticket and the Ghent Work Group Job Ticket as mechanisms to encode these metadata fields.
