Jef Vanbockryck is Business Manager at XT-i (XTreme-integrations NV).XT-i is a Belgian company founded in March 2001 as a member of the Cronos Group, which is a group of IT service companies employing about 700 people.Cronos — the mother company — started off in 1991 and is the largest privately-held Flemish IT company in Belgium.XT-i focuses on EAI/B2B Integration with XML as its key technology. Both Jef and the XT-i employees have built their knowledge on Integration and XML during their years at Cronos, working on large e-Business and Integration projects, while growing a solid customer base.This experience was built by Jef and his team inside a business unit of Cronos called Wepplications, a unit with a strong focus on XML usage for exchanging data between CRM applications and BackOffice systems.Next to his business manager role, Jef is also consulting Cronos/XT-i customers on EAI/B2B project implementation issues and e-Business architecture design. He is a frequently asked speaker at seminars and he also regularly organizes seminars himself on the practical issues of XML for Integration purposes. He is a member of the Belgian Healthcare Messaging Workgroup and contributes to a number of international XML consortia (e.g. HR-XML).
