Kenneth, Khoon Seng Lim

Kenneth Lim is the vice president of the Technology Development Division in CrimsonLogic where he leads a team of more than 50 engineers in Singapore to chart out directions for the company's technology development. The creation of robust solutions through the development and deployment of cutting-edge and web-enabled components and applications is Kenneth's forte.In addition, Kenneth is the director of CrimsonLogic India Pvt Ltd, CrimsonLogic's software development and training center, in Bangalore, India. He takes charge of the 80 developers to develop mission-critical applications and customised solutions for customers in Singapore and around the world. Kenneth represents CrimsonLogic in committees such as the ASP/IDC Alliance Chapter (AAC); the Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) Steering Committee, sits in the PKI technical working group and the Information Technology Standards Committee EDI working group spearheaded by the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore. He also chairs the Singapore EDI Committee.Kenneth was also responsible for the set up of the J2EE environment in CrimsonLogic, taking charge of areas including training, installation, design, coding, guidelines and resources. He has delivered technical lectures at institutions and conferences organised by national and international bodies such as the Asia Development Bank. He is also regularly quoted by IT magazines and journals for his views on web services, ebXML, RosettaNet, eOffice and J2EE technology.Graduated with a First Class Honours in Computer Science from the National University of Singapore in 1994, Kenneth started as a C++ programmer in PSA Corporation Limited developing Artificial Intelligent port system involving rules-based and intensive mathematical calculations. With in-depth experience in Object Orientation and database management, he was selected to head the Java committee to provide consultation to other development groups and to provide training in Object Orientation and Java technology.
