Biography

Jean-Jacques Moreau

Jean-Jacques Moreau received the Diplôme d'Ingénieur in computer science and telecommunications from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications de Bretagne (ENSTBr), France, in 1989. He is currently leading research on Web services at Canon Research Centre France.Prior to working at Canon, Jean-Jacques was working at HP Labs Bristol, UK, where he led research on an adaptative Web search engine and on a lightweight, distributed system management platform. From 1990 to 1995, he was a research staff member at HP Labs, working on distributed file systems and centralized system management platforms.Jean-Jacques is the recipient of several Canon IP awards, including a Canon Group IP award (2003), and two HP awards, including one for best technical transfer (1994). He holds or has applied for 56 patents. He has or will have technology included in HP OpenView IT/Admin and other products.Jean-Jacques is an editor for W3C SOAP 1.2, W3C WSDL 1.2, a member of the IEEE, the IEEE Computer Society and the ACM.
