Biography

Jim Gabriel

Experienced total immersion in the development of large, complex schema families when designing and building a single-source publishing system for a customer support portal at Compuware Corp. As system architect, learned how to apply continual abstraction and conceptual modelling to solve complex problems. Quit the day job and started own VC-funded company in Amsterdam in 2000 (Barbadosoft BV) with a team of engineers to build model-driven Lifecycle Management software for complex XML applications. Built the unique and revolutionary CortexML product, which was acquired by UK-based digitalML Ltd in 2003. Now working as Managing Director of the CortexML division with digitalML Ltd.
