Biography

Nadia Catenazzi
Lecturer and researcher

She graduates in Computer Science at the University of Milano in 1989, and receives a PhD in Information Science from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow in 1994. She works four years as lecturer and researcher at the University Carlos III of Madrid (Spain). In 1998 she goes on with the research activity at Mediatech working on an e-learning project. Since 2002 she is collaborating as a lecturer within the Innovation Technologies Department at the University of Applied Sciences of Southern Switzerland (SUPSI) and with the Department of Computer Science and Communication at the University of Insubria in Varese (Italy). Her main research areas include electronic publishing, multimedia, e-learning, and, in general, new Internet technologies, with specific attention for the XML language. She is the author of various international publications in these areas.
