ebXML Today

Abstract

The ebXML specifications have matured rapidly over the past year. New components and capabilities have been added and the overall architecture extended. Learn about this new comprehensive release of ebXML that is available from OASIS.

The ebXML approach has been endorsed by the EU and is being used in a variety of projects within the EU and globally. Learn about how these demands are being addressed by the ebXML specifications and how you too can take advantage of ebXML based deployments today.

A complete range of solutions are available from proven open source components that are in production use through to sophisticated suites from major vendors.

See how ebXML is providing the underpinning to these solution sets and how to start a simple minimal deployment through to exploiting the full range of ebXML deployment components together.

Also important is learning how to leverage ebXML in tandem with other technologies and these areas are discussed and particularly the use of ebXML in a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) deployment.

To round out the presentation a summary of the status and timelines for the availability of the newest ebXML features and specifications will be provided.
