The W3C XML Processing Model Working Group (XProc) is developing a standard for expressing XML pipelines, that is sequences of XML processes applied to a set of input documents. This presentation will summarize the state of that work, fresh from our second face-to-face meeting. The use cases and requirements will be covered briefly, followed by an exploration of some of the points of consensus and contention. Time and consensus permitting, a concrete syntax and one or two demonstrations with prototype implementations will be presented.
