Miko established himself as an industry-leading Java expert as ChiefEvangelist for the JavaSoft division at SUN. He keynoted at over 70 majorevents in 40 countries, promoting the benefits of the Java language. Mikoserved as a founding board member of SUN's Java ACES. He also led the Javadevelopment initiative at Hotwired.com, a successful Internet start-up. Hehas been on the advisory board of numerous companies including Togethersoft, Dejima, Kendara and is a limited partner with Focus Ventures.
