Philippe Le Hégaret is responsible for the Document Object Model
(DOM) Activity for the W3C. He acts as Team Contact for the DOM and Web
Services Description Working Groups. Philippe was until May 2002 Chair of the
W3C DOM and has also been a member of the XML and HyperText Coordination
Groups. He has been involved in XML Technologies since 1997. He is a co-editor
of the DOM Level 2 and DOM Level 3 Specifications, co-edited the W3C Note on
Components Extensions API requirements, and co-authored the W3C Note on the
Simple API for CSS (SAC). Philippe also wrote the first version of the CSS
Validator in 1997.
