As Chief Technical Officer at Vordel, Mark has overseen the development of Vordel’s technical strategy and product development in the areas of XML and public key cryptography. Mark designed and implemented EDI solutions for Ireland’s largest EDI Value-Added Network (VAN), Eirtrade Services Ltd, before merging his own company with Vordel, developing product for blue-chip clients including Sony Europe, Intel, Royal & SunAlliance, AXA, the Irish Government and Critical Path. Mark holds a double-honors degree in Mathematics and Psychology from Trinity College Dublin and also studied neural network modelling at Oxford University. Mark is a member of the OASIS Security Services Technical Committee.

Mark O’Neill has presented seminars on XML and PKI at the XML One Conference in London and he has also contributed articles to the Identrus eTrend quarterly publication and monthly industry tech-mag, XML Journal.
