Geir Ove Grønmo is currently Chief Architect at Ontopia, a topic map software vendor. He has been working with document management systems and information reengineering since 1994; specializing in SGML/XML related technologies. He studied Computer Science and Graphic Arts technologies at the College of Gjøvik. His current focus are on programming, knowledge modelling, knowledge acquisition and distributed knowledge systems. He developed the world's first topic map engine, tmproc, in 1999.
