Pierpaolo Baglietto was born in Varazze, Italy, in 1963. He received a Laurea Degree in electrical engineering in 1990 from the University of Genoa, Italy and a Ph.D. in computer engineering in 1994 from the same University. He was a Visiting Scientist at the MasPar Computers Corp., Sunnyvale, CA, in 1991 and at the NTT Communication Science Laboratories, Kyoto, Japan in 1992. He is currently a Researcher at the University of Genoa, Italy.
