Paul is a founder and CTO of alphaXML Limited. He provides advice to the UK Government in its adoption of XML, where he has been involved with setting policy for the use of XML, the Government Gateway and the Inland Revenue. He has written the "best practice guidelines" used for developing Government XML schemas, and has also worked with other European Governments. He has provided advice on the use of XML to major commercial companies such as NatWest and Microsoft. Paul is the author of XML Design and Implementation and co-author of Beginning XML and Professional XSL (all Wrox Press).
