Anna has worked with SGML and XML for over ten years, originally in publishing for HarperCollins and several Thomson companies. In the public sector, she has worked on several European institution projects, including the Budget of the European Union, the largest inter-institutional project of the European Community, which computerises the budget's creation and publication in all the member languages. She has specialised in multi-tier XML architectures for e-business using XML databases and middleware for application and data integration contributing to the UK’s e-Government initiative, working with the Cabinet Office, national government organisations, and Local Authorities.
