Duane Nickull
Biography:
Duane Nickull was a co-founder Yellow Dragon Software and XML Global Technologies, Inc., two successful startups. In XML Global, he was a co-inventor of the first Context-sensitive XML Search Engine (www.goxml.com) and the first web based XML E-Commerce ASP. He is named on a patent covering 51 unique algorithms and patent points pertaining to XML indexing and retrieval. He is heavily involved in many standards bodies working on global electronic business, including ebXML, Web Services and other XML related work. Duane recently finished a term as Project Team Lead of the United Nations (UN/CEFACT) eBusiness Architecture Group, a Technical Advisor to the UN/CEFACT - OASIS Joint Coordination Committee (JCC) and a specially appointed Liaison between the W3C, UN and OASIS consortiums. Duane served as the Co-lead of the ebXML Technical Architecture group as well as co-editor of that specification. He has written and contributed many technical articles and books on this subject and lectures globally about global electronic business around the world.
