Doug Bunting
Biography:
Doug represents Sun in a number of standards venues with a current focus on W3C and OASIS efforts. He presently represents Sun on the OASIS WS Composite Application Framework Technical Committee (TC), OASIS Business Transactions TC, OASIS WS Reliable Messaging TC, OASIS ebXML Messaging TC and WS-I Requirements Working Group.
Before joining Sun, Doug was Ariba's manager of the cXML supply chain protocol for business documents in B2B interactions. Prior to that, Doug was Intuit's liaison to the OFX and IFX consortia for personal finance connections to banks and internal banking connections. In ancient history, Doug consulted on a large number of database projects, including design and development work on Digital's RDMS suite and its SQL-based and distributed (proposed) replacement.
