Abstract

The Tucana Knowledge Server (TKS) is a scalable and enterprise-ready semantic database management system for RDF and OWL data. TKS version 2.1 may be used as an enterprise metadata repository, and/or a semantic enterprise information integration (Semantic EII) platform.

Version 2.1 introduces extensions to the Tucana Query Language and native API support which implements scalable Web Ontology Language (OWL) operations. Storage and retrieval of RDF, RDF Schema and OWL Lite plus full cardinality is supported. RDF and OWL are W3C Recommendations.
