SPECTRUM 2001

SPECTRUM 2001 CONFERENCE NOTES

THE DIGITAL ODYSSEY: The Total Digital Transformation of Print
The Sheraton El Conquistador, Tucson, Arizona — October 27-31, 2001

Mission - The mission of the Spectrum conference is to provide an effective forum for the graphic arts community at which leaders from the creative, prepress, printing, pub-lishing, and manufacturing arenas learn about and discuss changing business prac-tices, methods of applying new technologies to day-to-day operations, and ways to improve the production and communications processes for future benefit of their business and industry.

Notes - These notes were taken by member volunteers and provide summaries of sessions, are not verbatim transcriptions of sessions, presentations or conversations, nor cover all sessions. There were no notes taken from paid professional keynote speakers. The concurrent sessions and the games show session are not covered in these notes: much detail that was presented at the conference is subsequently miss-ing - you should have been there! A few sessions have been videotaped and will be available online at a future time. Please check www.idealliance.org for updates regarding availability of these video session recordings.
