15 / Moderator Contacts Speakers
By this date, panelists should have been contacted and
the content of their presentation discussed in order
for your session to have balance.
August 1 / 50-Word Biography &
1-Page Presentation Description
Send no more than a 50-word biography and a one-page
synopsis of your presentation in MS-Word format to;
dhultin@idealliance.org.
If
your biography is longer than 50 words we will edit.
We have very tight production deadlines, and copy submitted
after this date will not be included.
August
15 / Registration Required for All Speakers
All moderators and speakers are required to register
for the conference. The registration fee for all moderators
and speakers is $650 for the full conference. If you
are only attending the day of your presentation, the
registration fee will be waived. Submit your registration

22 / Speaker Slide Presentation & Audio-Visual
Needs
Speakers should submit their complete presentations
in electronic form to IDEAlliance no later than August
22. These can be sent on CD or e-mailed to dhultin@idealliance.org
so that we can develop the AV presentations for SPECTRUM
and inclusion on the post-conference website, available
to attendees only.
Speakers
are encouraged to use the SPECTRUM PowerPoint Template
available at:

A
microphone, LCD projector, laptop with previously sent
slide presentations, and a connection for PC or MAC
laptop will be available for your presentation. If you
require special audio-visual needs please send requests
to: dhultin@idealliance.org.

28 / Hotel Reservations
You must make your own hotel arrangements. The SPECTRUM
group rate and room availability is guaranteed until
August 28, 2002. After this date, rooms will still be
sold at SPECTRUM rate, but they will only be available
on a first-come-first-served basis. Please visit our

5 / Moderators' Conference Call
Participation in the Moderators' conference call is
required. This will be the final review of session with
the Conference Chair and Vice-Chair. The conference
call will be held:

Sept. 12 / Game Show
Questions Due
The Game Show is attempting to tie the conference sessions
together in a last crescendo. We are asking each speaker
to provide a minimum of 4 questions (with answers) that
we can pass to the Game Show Planning Committee. This
is an annual highlight of SPECTRUM.
Sept. 16 / Shipments
of Materials
Plan to time materials you are shipping to the hotel
to arrive no earlier than Monday, September 16, and
no later than Thursday, September 19. Shipments should

All
shipments addressed for SPECTRUM will be held in the
SPECTRUM conference office at the hotel. If you are
searching for packages that you have shipped, check
with the IDEAlliance staff first as most parcels will
have been transferred to the SPECTRUM office.
On-site
copying costs are very costly. For this reason, IDEAlliance
will not copy handouts on site. If you miss the deadline
for program materials and shipping dates, you will have
to bring or ship your own copies, or make arrangements
for copying.

22 / Moderators' Coordination Session at SPECTRUM
Your attendance at the Moderators' Coordination session
is imperative. This is the final review of the agenda
and any last-minute changes or updates. This session
will be held on Sunday, September 22 at 11:00am in Salon
