Alexandria, Va. (Oct. 27, 2016) – Idealliance, the communications industry association representing all facets of the global omnichannel media value chain, has announced that Tod Szewczyk, Vice President, Director Emerging Technology and Innovation, Leo Burnett, has joined the roster of industry-leader keynote speakers at its inaugural INKredible interactive event on Dec. 6 at The Princeton Club, 15 West 43rd Street, New York, N.Y.

Speaking on “How Brands Are Leveraging Changing Consumer Behavior,” Szewczyk will join fellow keynoters Deren Baker, Chief Executive Officer, Jumpshot; Michael Chase, Chief Marketing Officer, St. Joseph Communications; Michael A. Clinton, President, Marketing and Publishing Director, Hearst Magazines; and Jean-Charles Morisseau, Chairman, Diadeis Group. These industry leaders will present focused and fast-paced direction-setting 30-minute keynote addresses filled with relevant, valuable insights.

Focused on “the fusion of print and digital,” INKredible will cover innovations in orchestrated content marketing and publishing from the perspectives of media buyers, brand owners, publishers, printers, and technology partners. It has been designed for professionals in these disciplines, as well as direct mail marketers, brand managers, advertising account executives, publishing consumer marketers, marketing services executives, and media production professionals.

“The fusion of print and digital is not some abstract or futuristic concept; it is a vital reality in today’s advertising, marketing, and publishing industries,” says Steve Bonoff, Idealliance Senior Vice President of Programming and Marketing. “That’s why INKredible will be highly interactive, providing an opportunity for attendees to learn about today’s media applications from the real-world perspective of advanced practitioners and get fact-based answers to questions about how these technologies can work in their own disciplines, industry segments, vertical markets, and industries.”

Among the topics covered in the INKredible keynotes are “The Future of Integrated Publishing (Michael Clinton), “The Hybridization of Content: How to Merge Marketing, Content, and Technology (Michael Chase), “Knowing Your Customer: Informing Print through Digital Analytics” (Deren Baker), and “Boosting Ecommerce Sales with Omnichannel Packaging Content” (Jean-Charles Morisseau).

Baker will discuss how new online tools can help publishers define their audiences, analyze online purchasing footprints to detect behavioral attributes, quantify their value, and assure publishers and advertisers that advertising dollars will be effectively and accurately targeted. Chase will show how to be a storyteller in a multi-channel connected world and how to merge marketing, content and technology in bold and exciting ways, mixing, matching, and marrying the worlds of print and digital.

In his keynote, Clinton will look at the new world of integrated publishing from the perspective of overseeing the publishing side of more than 20 Hearst titles and all print and digital, corporate sales and marketing, brand development, and consumer marketing initiatives for Hearst Magazines. Morisseau will focus on how to switch packaging from a single purpose print process to a multichannel product information publishing tool, leverage brand assets to create outstanding digital 3D images, and aid in companywide usage of new data.

In addition to the keynotes, seven 20-minute rapid-fire “INKsight Burst” presentations will feature industry practitioners and innovators in technology, marketing, brand management, and business development looking at today’s critical industry issues. The Innovation Community will present live demos with proven tools for effective omnichannel communications, and Innovation Tech Talks will offer a review of case studies and technology trends for print and digital communications professionals.
