Print and Packaging Supply Chain Drastically Reduces Waste, Cuts Costs, Increases Production Output, and Dramatically Improves Color Consistency, Satisfying Brands and Print Buyers. Alexandria, VA (February 6, 2020) – On January 23-24, 2020 in Las Vegas, NV, Idealliance and EFI partnered to host a G7 certification and training at the annual EFI Worldwide User’s Conference—EFI Connect—and certified 27 new G7 Experts. Prominent print and packaging suppliers, OEMs, brands, and print buyers from around the world attended this certification and training event to earn status as globally recognized G7 Experts. G7 is Idealliance’s global industry-leading set of specifications that aligns the global print supply chain with one file, one separation, one target, one calibration, one remarkable similar visual appearance, on any machine, any print technology, anywhere in the world, making it possible to Print Anywhere™…Brilliantly. G7 is the #1 color specification in the world. It drastically reduces waste, time, and money because it eliminates the trial and error that otherwise might be required to accurately print the colors, regardless of ink and substrates, and it works across all print technologies. It is incredibly effective so it allows printers and print buyers to consistently maintain their client’s critical brand image and print production requirements. The participants gained firsthand experience and deep expertise in color theory, the G7 methodology, ISO standards, process control and press/proof alignment on leading print technology.
