Under the strategic direction of the Idealliance Board of Directors, Idealliance has completed an initiative to streamline its portfolio to focus on core industry and member offering – print and packaging supply chain workflow from creation to production with an emphasis on color.

Idealliance MailPro Certification Training Ends December 31st Those who have registered for MailPro will be given access to the training curriculum until December 31st.

Idealliance has ceased three areas of work:

  1. the Idealliance Foundation
  2. content management
  3. postal distribution

In particular, the standards development work in postal distribution arena revolving around the Mail.dat® and Mail.XML™ specifications were sold to the Delivery Technology Advocacy Council in August. The only remaining program in the Idealliance postal distribution portfolio is the MailPro Certification Training Program begun in 2016 and refreshed in 2018.

David Steinhardt, Idealliance Managing Director said, “The MailPro training program has trained over a 1,000 professionals in the past four years; however, the content and its educational method covering 19 hours of self-directed online training is in need of a substantial update and development. Idealliance is no longer involved in the postal space and we have decided to cease the MailPro training program on December 31st. We thank the industry professionals from the former Idealliance Postal Operations & Technologies Council who dedicated their time and expertise to make MailPro one of Idealliance’s most successful training programs.”

Those who have registered for MailPro – and any new registrants – will be given access to the training curriculum until December 31st. If you have any questions please contact David Steinhardt at dsteinhardt@idealliance.org or 703.887.7680.
